What TubeSignalHQ is

What is TubeSignalHQ?

TubeSignalHQ is a creator intelligence platform for YouTube. It has five modules: Packaging Audit (pre-publish diagnostics), My Channel (channel intelligence hub), Experience Risk (viewer fatigue and repetition analysis), War Rooms (competitive intelligence), and a Production Calendar. You can start with just packaging audits on the free plan and unlock the rest as you grow.

Who is this for?

Independent YouTube creators who publish regularly and want systematic intelligence across their channel — not just a one-off tool. The Starter and Pro plans are built for solo creators. The Studio plan is built for agencies and creators managing multiple channels at scale.

Is this AI-generated content?

No. Everything in TubeSignalHQ is rule-based and deterministic — the packaging diagnostics, channel intelligence, War Room analysis, and action plans all score or rank observable, named signals. TubeSignalHQ does not generate titles, thumbnails, scripts, or any other content for you.

Does it access my YouTube channel?

Only if you choose to connect it. Packaging audits require no channel connection — submit your title, thumbnail, opening hook, and transcript excerpt directly. My Channel and Experience Risk require a Google OAuth connection to read your channel and video data. War Rooms use the public YouTube API to analyse competitor channels.

Packaging Audit

What is Click Potential?

Click Potential scores your title and thumbnail across five signals: thumbnail presence (30%), emotional hook (25%), title specificity (20%), title length (15%), and thumbnail text (10%). Each signal receives a Pass, Warn, or Fail status — the weighted sum of those status scores produces the final 0–100 result. A higher score means stronger click-through packaging.

What is Retention Risk?

Retention Risk analyses your opening hook and transcript excerpt to score whether the first 30 seconds of your video establishes conflict and stakes early enough to retain viewers. The five signals are: Conflict delivery (30%), Opening phrasing (25%), Stakes clarity (25%), Exposition density (12%), and Escalation rhythm (8%). A higher score means lower retention risk — a score below 55 (grade F) means the opening is likely to cause early viewer drop-off.

Does improving my score guarantee more views?

No. Packaging is one factor among many — content quality, upload timing, channel authority, and algorithmic momentum all play a role. A high Click Potential score means your packaging has the signals associated with higher CTR. It is not a view count prediction.

How are scores calculated?

Each signal receives a status — Pass, Warn, or Fail — and each status maps to a point value for that signal (for example, Conflict delivery: Pass = 30 pts, Warn = 16 pts, Fail = 0 pts). Points across all signals sum to a 0–100 score. Grade: A (85+), B (70–84), C (55–69), F (below 55). Both Click Potential and Retention Risk use this weighted status system — not a simple average of per-signal scores.

Can I audit the same video multiple times?

Yes. Each submission uses one audit from your monthly count regardless of whether you've submitted the same title before. If you revise and re-submit, it counts as a new audit.

My Channel & Experience Risk

What is My Channel?

My Channel is a channel intelligence hub. Connect your YouTube channel via Google OAuth and you get a live scorecard (hook score, retention score, decision state), per-video scoring against your own channel baseline, a strategy profile, governance snapshots, and rule-based next-step action plans.

What is Experience Risk?

Experience Risk analyses your channel for patterns that cause viewer fatigue before they show up in your metrics. It detects topic and format repetition, scores content authenticity across your catalogue, maps how different viewer segments experience your channel, and generates a risk tier (Low / Medium / High / Critical) with a structured recovery plan.

What is Publish Validation?

Before publishing a new video, Publish Validation checks whether it adds to an existing risk pattern on your channel — repetition, over-promise, or audience drift. It flags the risk and explains why, so you can adjust before upload.

Which plan includes My Channel and Experience Risk?

My Channel and Experience Risk are included from Starter ($49/month) upwards. Free plan does not include them. My Channel limits: Starter — 1 account, Pro — up to 5, Studio — up to 20. Experience Risk limits: Starter — 1 channel, Pro — up to 10, Studio — up to 100.

War Rooms

What is a War Room?

A War Room is a competitive intelligence workspace. You select your channel, 2–25 competitor channels, a timeframe (30, 60, 90, 120, 180, 300, or 365 days), and a goal. TubeSignalHQ ingests YouTube data across all channels, runs analysis, and produces a full report — breakout packaging patterns, white space opportunities, title pattern analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Which plan includes War Rooms?

War Rooms are available from Starter ($49/month) upwards. Starter includes up to 2 rooms, Pro up to 10, and Studio up to 50. Each room supports up to 25 competitor channels.

How long does a War Room take to process?

It depends on the number of competitors and the timeframe. Processing typically takes several minutes. You will see live status updates as the pipeline progresses.

Can I re-run a War Room?

Yes. You can run a new analysis on an existing War Room at any time to capture how the competitive landscape has shifted since the last run.

Account and billing

What does each plan include?

Free: 3 audits/month, 3 calendar events/month, Production Calendar. Starter ($49/month): 25 audits/month, 20 calendar events/month, My Channel (1 account), Experience Risk (1 channel), War Rooms (up to 2 rooms), email support. Pro ($99/month): 150 audits/month, 100 calendar events/month, My Channel (up to 5 accounts), Experience Risk (up to 10 channels), War Rooms (up to 10 rooms), CSV export, priority support. Studio ($199/month): 500 audits/month, 500 calendar events/month, My Channel (up to 20 accounts), Experience Risk (up to 100 channels), War Rooms (up to 50 rooms), dedicated onboarding.

What counts as a packaging audit?

One submission — a video title, thumbnail image, opening hook, and transcript excerpt — equals one audit. Your count resets on the first day of each billing cycle. My Channel, Experience Risk, and War Rooms do not consume your audit count.

What happens when I hit my audit limit?

The packaging audit form disables until your cycle resets or you upgrade. All existing results and all other modules stay fully accessible.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the billing portal in your account settings. Proration is handled automatically by Stripe.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel any time from the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, within 7 days of any charge if you have used fewer than 3 audits on the paid plan. Email support@tubesignalhq.com with your account email and the refund request. See the refund policy for full details.

Technical and data

What image formats are supported for thumbnails?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Maximum file size 5MB. Dimensions do not affect the score — the diagnostic checks whether a thumbnail is present, not its pixel dimensions.

How is my data stored?

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security — each row is access-controlled to your account. Thumbnails are stored in a private storage bucket. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings → Danger Zone and click 'Export my data' to download a full JSON export of everything we hold on your account — audits, channel data, war rooms, experience risk scores, and billing history.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings → Danger Zone and click 'Delete account'. This permanently and immediately deletes all your data — audits, channel data, war rooms, experience risk data, and your account credentials. This cannot be undone.

Do you comply with GDPR?

Yes. If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data at any time — all available directly in Settings. For any other data requests email support@tubesignalhq.com. We respond within 30 days. See the privacy policy for full details.
